Way back in February1932, Giuseppe Spiteri purchased his first 'coach', a Chevrolet which seated only 14 passengers. Years after, he replaced this coach by a 29 seater Diamond T bus and in 1936 he bought a Reo which he modified to a 32 seater coach. The Reo was replaced by a Bedford OB. At that time, little did he imagine that he was laying the first pedaments for the foundation of a company which has since than become one of the major leading transport companies in Malta.

In 1968, Giuseppe's younger son, Angelo, took over the venture from his father. He bought the Bedford coach from his father together with another Bedford and set about modernizing the bodies of both coaches. Some years later he built his first minibus. Over the years, as the company situation flourished and as demand from clients increased, Angelo imported a number of minibuses and coaches from the United Kingdom.

In the early 1990's the sons of the late Angelo, took over the managing operation of their father's business. Today, Garden of Eden Garage is a name renowned among many tour operators and other clients for the high quality service it delivers. This has led Garden of Eden Garage to establish a wide portfolio of repeated customers and tour operators which have now been using the transport services of the company for many years.

The company knows its success as being the result of the hard work and experience of the late Angelo Spiteri who has than transferred his wide and unique experience in the transport sector to his sons.
